MATT BRANDON, FNP

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Matt Brandon, FNP, has always been interested in science. Becoming involved with medicine was his way of doing two things he loved at once: working with science and working with people. He is a graduate of Arkansas High School and graduated from RN school at SAU in 1992. Over the years, he has worked in critical care, rehab, home health, long-term care, and hospice.

He graduated with his Family Practitioner degree from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2013 and performed his clinicals locally through the AHEC of Texarkana.

Being able to listen to my patients develop a plan of care and assist them to a better quality of life is what I love about my profession,” Matt said. He treats patients 6 years old and up and manages conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, etc. Other services include DOT physicals, work and school physicals, regenerative and PRP injections. He is a provider in 16 different insurance companies, and he accepts Medicare.

As a medical professional, Matt began 2019 by going to a regenerative medicine convention in Atlanta, Georgia. Since then he has been collecting information and putting together the process of using regenerative medicine for damaged and painful joints. He explains, “This is an option to try before surgery, has a much faster recovery time, and it is a procedure that I do in the office. I believe regenerative medicine is going to have a huge impact on the future of medicine.
